This 2-week training is a chance to revisit and re-evaluate the way that the Hatha Yoga practices are presented and practiced. Through practice, dialogue, lecture, video clips, film, and group experience, we will explore old and new paradigms and emerging thoughts to see how they can be woven into the current Yoga practices of asana, pranayama and meditation. In all areas, the approach will be to understand/contemplate the practices and to experience them first-hand. Theory and practice are balanced in this training.
Students will receive a workbook/script and will also be expected to journal and write during the course. Some dialogue and practice sessions will be recorded (audio and video) and the recordings will be made available after the course for a fee.
All teaching is in English but there will be daily group sessions where small groups break off to discuss/dissect/review and re-present material. These small group setting are 3-5 persons and are usually conducted by the group in a language (ie. German, French etc.) according to the needs of the small group.
