A few sweet moments from my second day eating with @eatbyalex !!! This is the first day in over two weeks I have started to feel like myself. So that in itself was a huge bonus. But I wanted to share some of the amazing food Alex makes for her all vegan, whole food cleanses plus a fun vid of me and Miya teaching about relieving headaches 🤣. Swipe for all the goods (I’m not a food photographer but I couldn’t resist)
1. This is an excerpt of a little vid I made for the cleanse group to help relieve headaches commonly brought on by letting go of caffeine among other reasons. Miya is really into the jaw release!
2. Activated almond + quinoa + raw vanilla shake.
3. Beluga lentil + sweet potato + zucchini pasta + orange + celery. Plus sunshine + playground.
4. All purple soup - potato + cabbage + onion + cashews.

So yum! So happy to be feeling slowly better.

You ever notice that all that stretching and breathing and “Om”ing is still leaving you with hip or low back or shoulder pain? Guess why? Yoga is not a cure all. It’s also debilitating to some bodies the way it has often been taught in recent years.
There are a handful of teachers right now who are sharing intelligent and state-of-the-art practice. A couple live right here in Zürich. Here is one pictured in this photo.
Join me this Saturday for an advanced teacher’s study on the hips and pelvic imbalance. Why more stretching isn’t always a good idea, how to see and correct imbalance, and address and cue your students as individuals rather than blanket statements and alignment that don’t make sense for everyone. And sometimes not even for anyone.
