We came together over the summer and had an important and enlightening discussion surrounding the abuse of power in our communities.
Now, Anya Porter teams up with Deborah Sutter, who recently wrote on this important topic in 20 Minuten. Together, we take it a step further and work to create a code of conduct, or manifesto, that outlines those things we feel are important in regards to teacher/student relationships in our yoga and meditation communities. Please join us! Everyone is welcome. Your voice matters.
Each day of this immersion will shine a light into the myriad of ways we may view the self with particular focus and exploration on how pain and confusion manifests in the physical form. Through experiential techniques, discussion, and hands-on applications, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to tailor and evolve a personal practice that can remain vital and deeply supportive in the balance of the whole self over the entirety of one’s life.
Insight moves beyond knowledge, as it is born spontaneously within one who deeply and accurately understands.Designed with intelligence, innovation and integrity as its bedrock, the Insight Body education broadens and clarifies the notion of what it is to offer yoga as a professional, thus planting the seeds of true insight for each participant.
This program provides extensive teaching refinement, skill-set development, and a deep understanding of the moving body, all informed by the latest evolutions and research in the fields of yoga and movement science.
The Insight Body Advanced Education program will be offered from May 17, 2019 through September 15, 2019. It will be guided by an international and highly experienced teaching faculty under the direction of Anya Porter. Early registration is recommended.
