Imbalances in hands, fingers and wrists can manifest up through the shoulder into the neck and jaw as pain and tightness. If left unchecked, these imbalances can actually affect and shift our spine and lead to other issues further down our movement chain. Losing confidence in our hands can literally knock us off our center.
Learn to assess and work with your hand, finger and wrist strength and mobility, and build a proper grip. Assessing left vs right hand and wrist can give much insight into bigger movements such as pulling, pushing and weight bearing. In three hours, we will cover basic biomechanics assessments, balance-building exercises, and ultimately make our way into approaching yoga poses from a purely personalized therapeutic lens.
