Inner Yoga + Biomechanics Series: Knees to Lower Back
2-3 hour workshops exploring therapeutic applications of Yoga and biomechanical Insights.
While feet are complex structures with 28 joints each side, hips and knees are far more simple albeit larger, with just one and two joints respectively. The hip and knee also carry the greatest amount of load (i.e. weight + force) in our body as we walk and run. Because of this massive loading, they can be sites of discomfort or injury.
Learn to assess your own hips and knees and address any imbalances or important points you encounter through rehabilitative movements and therapeutic yoga applications.

Inner Yoga + Biomechanics Series: Hand + Wrist
Our hands are our connection to the world around us through sensing, holding, letting go and caring for. Imbalances in hands, fingers and wrists can manifest up through the shoulder into the neck and jaw as pain and tightness. If left unchecked, these imbalances can actually affect and shift our spine and lead to other issues further down our movement chain. Losing confidence in our hands can literally knock us off our center.
