  • Hatha Yoga

Explore traditional yoga postures and breathwork supported by a deeper understanding of your own personal (as opposed to generic or textbook) physiology. The basis of this practice starts from slowing down enough to actually feel where your unique physiology and history places you in the context of a yoga practice. Extensive use of variations and yoga props (such as blocks or chairs) allows for different pathways into the therapeutic benefits of asana.

Appropriate for those with at least 6 months of yoga practice or other mindful movement modalities.

  • Gentle/Exploratory Yoga

Explore the innate intelligence of your own physiology with guided exercises and dialogue that help you learn how to feel what is possible. Develop trust in your physical capacity and cultivate understanding and patience where you have challenges.

Appropriate for all levels and those with injuries. Also ideal for experienced practitioners wishing to further investigate their own physiology and teachers looking to offer more insight to students.

  • Private/Individual

Committing to investigating yourself in one-on-one sessions can spark the ultimate journey into your highest potential. Through subtle and focused work, we find the places where you are unconsciously challenged or have blind spots. Using yoga and other modalities, we work together to facilitate your self-discovery and well-being.

Each journey starts with an intake session that assesses your movement capacity and hindrances, as well as your personal history (injury, surgery, trauma, other inherited or learned unconscious patterns).

Navigate your way out of your physical and mental hindrances. Build insight and depth into your personal practice and life path.

We are all works in process. Whether new or experienced, entering a yoga practice from first principles or fundamental elements (attention, action, patience, curiosity, discernment) deepens our capacity to meet ourselves honestly and to navigate body, mind, and life itself. We can continuously uncover where we move and where we fixate, where we allow and where we withhold, where we see clearly and where we may have blind spots.

Classes include some subtle movements that reveal our natural physical capacities as well as challenging areas. Over time these personal revelations help inform our understanding of where we feel free and/or “stuck”. From this understanding, we become empowered to curate ourselves through a deeply personal practice that supports balance and individual evolution.
